Funny how when fuel prices were high everyone was in a state of ‘inventiveness’ and now that we’re seeing lows again Hybrid mechanics have once again been pushed to the back of the room (seems to be the topic of the morning for me). Thanks for the heads up on this because I wasn’t even aware of it – manu’d in the US? Even better for our turbulent economy. My hats off to this guy and thanks again for posting this. Necessity truly is the mother of invention. Take care out there everyone.

There will always be the “doom and gloomers” no matter what great inventions lie ahead. Joel is the one who got this started and at present, is the only one utilizing this new technology in the world. I have a feeling this Solar APU system will really take off in the next few years or so …. The amount of money that can be saved by O/O drivers and trucking companies alike … makes it a “no brainer.”
