Pilot Travel Center has purchased nearly 20 acres, just outside of Tyler, Texas for the building of a new Pilot truck stop. Although having been in the works for a year and a half, the deal finally was done and the plans are in the works. It is expected to be completed by late spring or early summer. Pilot operates 262 travel centers in 39 states.
