Donna will be attending the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Texas next month, with a booth set up for “Trucker” – the world’s first iPhone application for the trucking industry. We are noticing that some iPhone and iTouch users totally missed the Driver’s Resource Page of the Trucker App.

We are working toward releasing the Trucker Gold version, 2.0 in the near future which will have several new and cutting-edge technological features built right into the application. As the video explains, the Trucker iPhone App has buttons for three RSS feeds, but the main feature of the application is the Driver’s Resource Page. Since we noticed some have overlooked this page completely, we wanted to insure the understanding of how to get to the resource page, since this is the HEART of the Trucker Application.

The first Trucking Application for the Apple iPhone – Trucker – has been released and is now available at the iPhone App Store. The Trucker Lite Version is the first of its kind app in the world, and development is already underway for the Trucker Gold Version.

We’re all waiting for the release of the first mobile phone application created for our nations’ truck drivers, “Trucker”…including us. The expected date of release, 3/11/09, has come and gone, and the anticipation for the release continues to mount. It very well could be that Apple just has many applications coming in daily, and is nothing more than the fact that they are, “backed up.” Whatever the case, we’ll all just have to sit back and wait for the soon to be released Trucker App.
Now, the good news. Along with all the information that Trucker App provides, the ability for you to participate by submitting your own content, will add a fun and welcome twist to this application.
Two examples of this feature in the Trucker App that are:
You can send us a URL of a YouTube video you like. This can be a video that you’ve taken, or just one you like and want to share from YouTube. We’re going to be posting as many as we can in the media section of the Trucker application.
Also, the splash page picture of the highway taken through the drivers side windshield of the truck (which will be the main page of the app) can be replaced with a pic you take from inside your own truck. If you like, just send us your .jpg photo file and we’ll try our best to put it up on the application for you. (File size can be no more than 200 kb.)
Hint: You can put something personal on the dashboard when you take the pic…then all will know who the photographer was.
We think these added features will add some fun and interaction among us all.
So, for now we’ll just hold on and be patient….it’s really all we can do.

Apple behind on App Releases – Trucker to be released very soon!
As you know by now, the FIRST iPhone Application for Trucking, TRUCKER, will be available from the iTunes Store on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009. The Trucker Lite Version has the ability to have content added at any time, thus providing a revolutionary phone application. Literally, every time you open the Trucker App, there could be new and fresh content, unlike many standard applications which simply remain the same.
For example: Have a cool photo you’ve taken through the driver side windshield of your truck? Then e-mail us your photo in .jpg ( not more than 180KB) The “splash page” of the app can be frequently alternated, rotating pics that you’ve sent us!
Have a favorite YouTube video? Send us the URL, and we will review it and post it to the application for everyone to see.
This truly is an interactive trucker application, and it’s just the beginning.
